K-9 AWARENESS DAY 2010

 

K9 Max demonstrates his obedience skills.	Max looks on while officer pats down the assailant.
Assailant becomes aggressive so Max is commanded to subdue him.	K9 Rolf is commanded to subdue his assailant.
K9 Cody and the officers prepare for a demo.	Anyone who thinks K9 Police Dogs aren't cool has never been to K9 Awareness Day.

A sampling of the baked goods that were on sale to raise funds for local K9 programs.	The bakers even made WLFS a special "thank you" cake on behalf of the K9 units.
Some local officers were on hand to support the event and help out.	The "Grill Man" served up delicious refreshments for a hungry audience.
K9 Awareness Day brings friends from the community together to support the K9s.	The WLFS staff is always available to take care of customers and load vehicles.
